Erin May ran Buttercups, Otley’s soft play area in the Westgate Arcade, before passing on the baton to her daughter Ellie and opening this cool coffee shop in November 2023.
Set at the back of the arcade, Olive & Fig has seating both outside and in the basement cafe, tastefully designed with exposed stone walls and Mediterranean accents.
All the cakes are painstakingly made by Erin herself and there’s a fabulous breakfast/brunch menu with the more traditional salads and sandwiches sitting alongside Buddha Bowls and build-your-own eggs Benedict.
Olive & Fig also offers take-aways, caters for parties and theres’ a regular Silent Book Club too.
