Milk Bar Cafe & Bistro
Tom and Melz Stevens took over the historic Milk Bar Cafe in Manor Square in late 2024.
Originally from Suffolk, the pair are serial specialists in the hospitality industry having owned a cafe in Hebdon Bridge, a pub in Cornwall and much more.
In November 2024, the pair returned to Yorkshire in hope of finding a property in their adopted home and after a time of searching fell in love with both Otley and the Milk Bar that had just become available.
Remaining true to its cool café routes, the Milk Bar continues to offer brunch, snacks, and homemade cakes, plus delicious coffees, milkshakes and more.
There’s been a cafe on this spot since at least 1945 as evidenced by images of the end of World War II celebrations and in the 1970s it was a hip hangout to the point where the space for the juke box can still be seen in the cafe.
