When EJ and Si decided to set up their own tattoo studio in Otley, they weren’t just opening another shop — they were creating a space where creativity could bounce, build, and thrive.

Founded in 2022 after a move away from a private studio, Hollow Hearts Tattoo Collective is owned and run by EJ (@ejitattoo) and Si (@bigsitattoo), two artists who believe tattooing is better when it’s collaborative. Their vision was simple: bring together a group of talented creatives who feed off each other’s energy, support one another’s styles, and make clients feel genuinely welcome.

The result is a multi-award-winning, friendly, private studio covering all tattoo styles across a diverse team of artists. Alongside tattooing, Hollow Hearts also offers piercing, laser, and PMU services by appointment. Walk-ins are always welcome, though booking ahead is wise — it’s a busy place for good reason.

Community matters here too. Since opening, the team has hosted countless charity events locally and nationwide, raising thousands for good causes, alongside regular competitions and giveaways.

With artists spanning different styles, backgrounds, and approaches — and a clear “all skin types welcome” ethos — Hollow Hearts is less a studio and more a creative collective. One built on trust, shared inspiration, and a genuine love of the craft.
