Craftsman Tools Ltd is the multi-award winning supplier of precision toolholding, workholding, and supply chain management services to a broad spectrum of the engineering sector.
Originally formed in Yeadon in 1953 and moving to Otley in 1965, the company enjoyed its 70th anniversary in April 2023. Over those 70-plus years, the Craftsman Tools has invested heavily in both its people and machinery to ensure that it remains highly competitive at the forefront of manufacturing excellence on a worldwide level. That excellence sees Craftsman work with other renowned companies the world over, both through Craftsman Tools and its American sister company Chevin Tools, while through its partnership with Keighley-based Five Landis Ltd, it helps supply parts for car engines for every major manufacturer bar Toyota.
International claim aside, Craftsman plays a huge role in the local Otley community thanks to it award-winning three-year apprentice scheme and support of local sports teams.
