Now in its fourth generation of being managed and run by the Paley family, Paley’s has been serving the people of Otley and surrounds from its premises on Westgate for more than a quarter of a century.

Originally founded by current owner David Paley’s grandfather, the company started out as a removals firm, reconditioning and refitting old carpets for people who were changing homes before growing into the business it is today.

Paley’s is a company that looks at competing with bigger companies thanks to the personalised service offered by David, his son and the rest of the team – all the company’s fitters for instance are trained in-house.

Paley’s looks to promote carpets made from British wool that are also stain resistant, as well as other forms of flooring, including laminate and vinyl. There’s also a bespoke rug service that can make rugs in an array of colours and to almost any site.
